Something that occurred to me at Maintenance Day....

After observing the love and group dynamics at Maintenance Day that flowed like a soothing river drifting down from the mountains on a beautiful Montana summer day something occurred to me.. Thru hard work out of love for people like you and me, Don and Eileen had done a REMARKABLE job of bringing us all together!! I remember standing back with an :scared:on my face and total admiration in my heart for the two of them!! UNREAL!!

Then I read Don's recent post and some more thoughts about something that hit me at MD came back... Those thoughts basically revolved around me asking me what I thought I could do to assist Don in his every day responsibilities in a non disruptive way..

You folks remember Jim Varney/Ernest? He used to sing this little song that I loved,, went something like - "they never grow old, their always brand new, those three little words of Please and Thank You"...

This morning I was singing that song when it all came together. IMHO, those little icons at the end of every post here in VR represent some mighty powerful assistant tools for possibly making Don's job just a little bit easier,, maybe.. What I plan on doing from this day forth is whenever I read a post I intend to click on that little "thank you" icon just to let the poster know that I am grateful for his/her taking the time to comment within this awesome "world" that the Bossman and Eileen have worked so hard to create for my enjoyment. A simple little gesture in an effort to maintain tranquility within our family!!

Don and Eileen - THANK YOU once again for all of this!!

but truthfully. I have made life long friends because of this website that Don has created. When I think of these friends that are scattered across the country & a few in other countries, it amazes me. Thank you Don for letting me be part of this VR family.

BUT,,, I never was never embarrassed by my big brother Arnold, matter of fact - I purposely go out of my way to wear a shirt just like his cause I is a PROUD little brother!! Guess ya best just get used to it Arney!!
