DragonRider Posted May 30, 2015 #1 Posted May 30, 2015 Spent the last two nights visiting the ER, Wed. nite for a really bad case of hives, got that under control and thur. nite had worst chest pains ever so I go a full on lights and sirens ride back to a different ER and ended up having 99% blockage in one artery and 50% in another, ended up undergoing heart cath and getting one stint. Home now little tired but feeling much better. Been a rough week, and to add insult to injury Charlene was involved in an accident on way to hospital, tore her Mountaineer up pretty bad, it only has three wheels now! No injuries to her or our two grandsons.
GAWildKat Posted May 30, 2015 #2 Posted May 30, 2015 I missed the part about Charlene! If there's anything the two of you need let me know. I can be there in a jiffy.
Dale124 Posted May 30, 2015 #3 Posted May 30, 2015 Sheesh! That is a lousy week. Hang in there, D.R. Dale
Venturous Randy Posted May 30, 2015 #4 Posted May 30, 2015 When it rains, it pours. As bad as it is, it sounds like you both are lucky. I hope your stint works out and you do OK with it. So, Charlene decided she wanted a trike, huh? I hope she is going to be OK too. Randy
Huggy Posted May 30, 2015 #5 Posted May 30, 2015 Yes, hope it all works out for you and I'm sure you will recover better than ever!!!
BuckShot Posted May 30, 2015 #6 Posted May 30, 2015 Prayer's sent for everyone. Glad your feeling a little better.
maryb Posted May 30, 2015 #8 Posted May 30, 2015 So sorry! Our prayers are with you. See you in Vogel!
Eck Posted May 30, 2015 #9 Posted May 30, 2015 Dog gone Lewis. You and Charlene are floating in bad luck lately. I'm glad your heart attack didn't happen on your vacation and you waited till you got back home to have it. Glad Charlene and the grandsons are all ok too.. We can have lunch some other time when you get back on your feet..
Sailor Posted May 30, 2015 #10 Posted May 30, 2015 Get well soon. What I hate about hospitals is the food, and why do I always get nurse Ratchet, never nurse Bambi or Candy. All in all though I prefer the hospital to the alternative....the morgue. You will soon be up and about.
Great White Posted May 30, 2015 #11 Posted May 30, 2015 Well, you're home and the rest of your clan is safe. The rest is just money and stuff. That can be fixed or replaced. It may be hard to see it right now, but the important things are safe (family). That's all that matters.
DragonRider Posted May 30, 2015 Author #13 Posted May 30, 2015 Nothing short of death could hold me back, but then ya'll could turn it into a nice memorial for me........................LOL
Dano Posted May 30, 2015 #14 Posted May 30, 2015 Glad you were able to get thru it Lewis. Now maybe most of the Harley/"oldwing" riders will see just how TUFF us Venture riders can be!
djh3 Posted May 31, 2015 #15 Posted May 31, 2015 Sure seems this month has been awfuly rough on out VR folks.
DragonRider Posted May 31, 2015 Author #16 Posted May 31, 2015 You said it, way to many members having issues of one kind or another, but for the most part, most of us recover, I guess its because of our age that plays a part in that because most member are of an advanced age. Sure seems this month has been awfuly rough on out VR folks.
