Heinno Posted May 26, 2015 #1 Posted May 26, 2015 So, I installed the LA Chopper oval slip-on pipes on my RSTD - don't like the sound, pitch is too high for me. So here is a few questions: 1. If I remove the baffles, will it make much a difference in the sound - is it deeper or will it just be more hollow? (they seem pretty stuck in there and I do not want to waste time (or knuckle skin) trying to get them out. 2. Will it help if I wrap the baffles? 3. Do you get different baffles for LA Chopper pipes Any advice is welcome, thanks!
eusa1 Posted May 29, 2015 #4 Posted May 29, 2015 answer yes if you wrap them it will rid you of that tin hollow noise. removing the baffle all together will make it worse
