Rick Haywood Posted May 25, 2015 #1 Posted May 25, 2015 Can anyone tell me what fuse the horn is run through? I can't seem to locate it and the horn quit
Flyinfool Posted May 25, 2015 #2 Posted May 25, 2015 Do you still have the stock horn or an upgrade? I'm bringing my electrical box to MD.......
Flyinfool Posted May 25, 2015 #3 Posted May 25, 2015 According to the wiring diagram the horn is on the same fuse as the turn signals and 4 way flashers. So If those work, it is not the fuse. The only other logical place to start is to try cleaning the contacts in the horn switch. I know all of the switches in a 1st gen are serviceable, not sure about one of those newfangled 2nd gens.
Yammer Dan Posted May 25, 2015 #4 Posted May 25, 2015 Horn won't work?? USE FINGER!!! Hope ya get it fixed Rick....
Rick Haywood Posted May 25, 2015 Author #5 Posted May 25, 2015 Just got home from a weekend at Orlins and haven't had time to look at things yet. I added a relay to my horns sine I put louder ones on so maybe the relay went bad. Gonna start there
Flyinfool Posted May 25, 2015 #6 Posted May 25, 2015 Or the fuse feeding the power side of the relay. You did fuse that line right..........
