Trader Posted May 24, 2015 #1 Posted May 24, 2015 I haven't been on here much lately...I probably only put 300 miles on the bike last summer and have only been on 2-3 very local rides so far this year. I haven't been able to get to ANY of the get togethers.....and rarely logged on here......BUT.....it's still the best $12 investment I can think of making so I just renewed for another year!!!!! Hope you all Have fun at MD!!!! .Watch out for them pond monsters and Yammer...don't forget your tent poles! I'll be thinking of you all.
cowpuc Posted May 24, 2015 #4 Posted May 24, 2015 Way to go TRADER!!!! Soooo,, you know about the Pond Monsters? I aint never been to Don's and this whole Pond Monster thing has me a little nervous.. Gotta ask ya,, seems how you have seen em - do you by any chance know the front part from the back part on one of em and what end is the best end to spear one or shoot one? I am hunter of sorts and would LOVE to have one hanging across the back of my bike on the way home and then have it mounted by a taxi-dermist for display in my man cave.. Any advice would be appreciated!! Have met Yammer (I think - no one really knows for sure do they?), have all my traps set and ready to place around the perimeter of our tent cause we need all our poles.. Any other suggestions for us newbies for protection from such varmints would also be appreciated.. It would be great if you change your mind and show up at Don's to help teach me the ropes!!! Puc

Fear not old Puc ... Once they get a glimpse of you ...they will not surface again for who knows how many generations....Probably even spread rumors down there about surface monsters. :shock3: ......
