Prairiehammer Posted May 22, 2015 #26 Posted May 22, 2015 7mm Rem Mag is my round of choice in trying to keep the roads free of deer. I could put that to very good use. I even have a can of powder and a box of 7mm 140g Ballistic Tip bullets just looking for a home. OK, they are yours, Jeff. I WILL remember to pack 'em. In fact I will put them in "Camping Central" (Maintenance Day version) right now.
cowpuc Posted May 22, 2015 #27 Posted May 22, 2015 After seeing Freebirds generous offer to all to come, I put a flyer up at the local bike shop. So far 73 people have emailed me for the address. Raggie, thanks for sending me those 200 copies of those flyers.. I got em in all the bike shops here - even stuck the left overs on the telephone poles like you suggested.. This should REALLY be fun!!! PS.. did you look in a mirror and see anything strange like was mentioned? I did,, nothing wrong there at all.. I think someone is and trying to :stickpoke:us..
ragtop69gs Posted May 22, 2015 #28 Posted May 22, 2015 I did look while walking past the mirror earlier, I didn't see anything reflecting back,, that mirror must be broken !

bill4you502 Posted May 23, 2015 #34 Posted May 23, 2015 Just got of the phone with Eileen. She called the caterer to order food for Saturday at Maintenance Day. We were shocked that the prices had gone up 40% from two years ago but still the best deal around. As always a "Donation" can will be out for those who wish to help with the costs. To give you an idea, the cost per person for just the food is $8.22 per person. That does not include water, soft drinks, buns and etc. that we buy elsewhere. Again, if you are going through hard times and simply can't afford to donate, we completely understand and you are still more than welcome to enjoy the lunch. If you can help, it is much appreciated. Thanks Hey Don...How's the weather gonna' be nxt week-end? Weather channel says rain. What's local weather guys sayin?????
pbjman Posted May 24, 2015 #35 Posted May 24, 2015 I don't trust them weathermen a week out, they just don't have the ability to call it that well beyond 24-48 hours. Actually, weren't they saying as recently as Thursday that this area was going to be cloudy with spotty storms today and likely storms for tomorrow too? (It was nearly cloudless, sunny and warm all day today Just Awesome Riding Weather!) Hopefully the Boss remembered to order some nice weather for me on my first MD!
