Oberlin Inn for MD weekend.

Just was wondering if anyone is staying at the Oberlin Inn for MD this year.

I did a search for that question last week. I didn't want to be all by myself, and somewhat discovered that most who posted are staying at the Quality Inn in Elyria. Some are staying elsewhere, and a whole bunch are camping in the snoring section.

Oberlin Inn has been pretty good to us in the past. The problem this year is that they are under major construction and I don't think have many rooms open.

Still had rooms left last week. The rear balcony for bike parking, restaurant and lounge is still open. We made our reservation there early in the year. Just thought maybe someone else would be staying there.

When I called they did not have any rooms.......

We called a while back they had rooms, ask them if we could get the same rate that we had before, and the woman said 189.00 a night, and was kinda $hitty about it.

That's about what they told us a while back. Really liked it a couple of years ago the patio made a nice place to hang out in the evening and enjoy a cold one. Maybe next time when they get the new one done we all can stay there. Can't wait to go will be nice to get out and ride new shock sure makes big difference see everyone next weekend.

I liked staying there. It was close by and they have a bar!! Staying at a joint in Elyria this time around. Not happy about it, but I do not camp so I gotta do what I gotta do.
