Freebird Posted May 17, 2015 #1 Posted May 17, 2015 We are about ready for all you hooligans. It's always a busy spring around here getting ready for Maintenance Day but I think we are ready. We are sitting on the front porch having a little drink and relaxing and just talking about how different things are going to look here in less than 2 weeks now. We are really looking forward to hosting all our old friends and hopefully some new ones.

Venturous Randy Posted May 18, 2015 #13 Posted May 18, 2015 I would love to be going this year, but just can not make it. Linda and I are in the process of putting her house on the market and I have several projects that must be finished before I have better access to my garage. In fact, with all the upgrades I have planned on my 1st gen, I have yet to put one mile on it this year. Linda and I went to MD several years ago and it will always be one of my great motorcycling memories. I hope to again attend in the future and use the Timeout Camper, even if I tow it up there with one of my Miata's. The last time we stayed in a motel. I hope and pray that everyone has a great time and a safe and fun trip. Randy
cagie Posted May 18, 2015 #14 Posted May 18, 2015 Looks great! You sure you want a bunch of bikers camping on that beautiful lawn?!?
cowpuc Posted May 18, 2015 #15 Posted May 18, 2015 BEAUTIFUL DON, just BEAUTIFUL!! Hats off to both you and Eileen for providing one of the prettiest campgrounds Tip and I will have ever stayed in. Your hard work (both of you) is greatly appreciated!! Now,, about that bell I see in the picture,, any chance I could get assigned to control the dinging thereof? As an official member of the National Ding Dong Association - me and that puppy could have a lot of fun together!! 10 snores - 1 ring
Freebird Posted May 18, 2015 Author #16 Posted May 18, 2015 Reminder to self....REMOVE BELL before Cowpuc arrives.

Saturday night can sound like a chainsaw convention.......
Marcarl Posted May 18, 2015 #18 Posted May 18, 2015 Most years at MD there is a lot going on, clutches are being rebuilt, carbs are synced, wiring is figured out, polishing is being discussed, lights are added and replaced, pin striping is being oggled, tires are changed and balanced, brakes are renewed, and occasionally carbs are cleaned and the mosquitoes are being harassed. I do not remember a time when horns were being tested, so I think that might be a good thing to add into the mix this year. Funny thing about those noise makers though, to get the best results it's best that there be no other interference, like people talking, guys revving their bikes, talking, and shooting of BS,,,, you get the picture. It's also a well know fact the noise is better heard in the dark and carries further when there is little wind, so maybe we best set a time for such maintenance. I'm thinking that the best and right time for this exercise would be about 4:30 in the morning. Maybe I could show up to get things started. No need to thanks me for this idea, it was Cowpuc who got my brain started. What time is breakfast????
Freebird Posted May 18, 2015 Author #19 Posted May 18, 2015 Reminder to self....spike Marcarl's water with sleeping pills.
Yammer Dan Posted May 18, 2015 #20 Posted May 18, 2015 Don't wory Puc. That bell won't drown out the snoring that seems to come from the area close to where I camp. Gonna find out who that is one of these days....
Gary N. Posted May 18, 2015 #21 Posted May 18, 2015 Your yard looks great Don. I may regret not bringing the space shuttle this year.
Yama Mama Posted May 18, 2015 #22 Posted May 18, 2015 Dan I think you are hearing the bull frogs or maybe the pond monster. Yama Mama
