reverse speedometer

so changed out my throttle cables took the scoot for a ride.. next day took off and speedometer and odometer not working.. so I let off of the throttle and up it goes.. when I apply throttle down it goes.. letting off and again back up. If I get completly off the throttle we see acurate speed.. after possibly 10 miles.. it will start working correctly.

 

ever heard this before?

Sorry not sure why link did not work. Click link and it takes you to the homepage. From that point click the tech library tab and than click 2nd gen. On the next page click the electrical lick. Scroll down and click speed sensor test. I had to replace my sensor a few months after I got my venture. I went online and got one from pinwall cycle.
