new signals for RSV

I was kinda bored with the old pancake style tails on my RSV. A couple of years ago at PIP I spotted Bubbers RSV with some nice beehive signal lights on his and liked them a lot. A while ago I saw a stratoliner and with its retro signal lights it got me thinking of looking for an upgrade from mine again. I found a good selection of signal lights at a reasonable price with free shipping at Motor City Cycle in Michigan. I found out our signal lights are the 83mm size and even though they advertise that the chrome finish units will allow enough light through to work properly, my experience is they don't. But I am very satidfied with the Amber bullet signal lights, and they just bolt up,...except that you have to flip the chrome trim ring around the OEM light inside out to work. AND for us Canadians he ships to Canada free.....the fellow is very easy to deal with and called me about the details about the fit as he primarily sold to HD riders. Prices are also much cheaper than buying from the major retailers like JM if you factor shipping costs in.
