M61A1MECH Posted May 5, 2015 #1 Posted May 5, 2015 (edited) I was poking around the Goldwing F6B forum. looking for a set of muffler tips and I came across these things called Hambly Badges. Found out they are custom made badges to replace the Honda Badges on the Goldwing fairing. So I sent him a copy of my Gunslinger Avatar to see what he could do with it. Well here they are, can not wait to get them installed. What do you think? Edited May 5, 2015 by M61A1MECH

ReinyRooster Posted May 5, 2015 #6 Posted May 5, 2015 So the obvious question is.....is this guy taking orders?
M61A1MECH Posted May 5, 2015 Author #7 Posted May 5, 2015 Her just announced last night on the F6B forum that the badge business would be on hold for the next few months, he just landed a new contract for some custom motorcycle parts for a company in SD, that will take all of his time. He may take an order and just put you on a list and get to you when he can. If you PM me I can give you his email address and see what he says, worst he can say is no.
M61A1MECH Posted May 8, 2015 Author #8 Posted May 8, 2015 Badges are installed. Here are so pics of the right side badge installed
Brake Pad Posted May 9, 2015 #9 Posted May 9, 2015 What's the diameter ?, I'll pop mine out and add my square and compass in blue
M61A1MECH Posted May 9, 2015 Author #10 Posted May 9, 2015 Diameter is 2.45" essentially the same size as stock badge. To get the factory badges off, tape the fairing around the badge to protect the paint, heat the badge up with a hair dryer and once hot GENTLY pry off with a small screw driver. Takes some time and patience. Apply the new badge with good quality automotive double sided tape. Electrical connection makes a lighted kit that you can put between the fairing and the badge and it lights up the badge and acts as a turn indicator.
Brake Pad Posted May 9, 2015 #11 Posted May 9, 2015 The Masonic Badges don't come with a see through face. the light package is cool, but not applicable here.
Zzyzx Posted May 9, 2015 #12 Posted May 9, 2015 Badges? Ha, We don't need no stinking Badges.....but they sure do look great on the bike thou. Real Nice addition!
