Low pressure tire pumps

Hey all,

 

This is my first post. Mostly cause there is 100 feet of 2 feet deep snow between my bike and the driveway, so even thinking of the bike depresses me:-) What a winter!!! ( I walked out to the shed this morning and the snow is rock hard. Hardly made a footprint so no hope of shoveling it)

 

I really like this site. I have found answers to many questions just by reading the forums. I ride an '07 Midnight Venture. Love the ride. Had an '85 Wing before and there is no comparison. My wife doesn't hound me to pull over after an hour on the road any more. Some days I can't get her off it...

 

Question is: What is a good pump to get for the air suspension? Especially the front. They are hard to get at and because the pressure is so low, just disconnecting the air hose changes the pressure drastically. Tried the dealer here but they aren't much help.

Progressive has 1 , I got 1 for christmas ( 0 to 60 psi )

Harley Davidson has a good one for about $45. That's what I use.-Jack

I have one from the local harley dealer. Works great. Given it for my birthday from my daughter.

I was told by the HD parts man that their pump is made by Progressive. It is a better deal but it has a small HD logo on the face. No problem!! It stays in the saddlebag anyhow. Works great but I want to install an equalizer between the two schrader valves. Brian

I found that it's the same pump with different names. There good little pumps and works well with the suspension.

 

I purchase one about three years ago and paid around $42.00. I think it has Harley Davidson stamped on it. I think there all made by Progressive. (click on the picture below)

I added the Air Balance Kit to my Venture and love it. Now I just need the pump to go with it.

I use my bicycle pump. Those slide pumps are really overpriced for what they are.
