Attempting New Clutch Replacement

Just don't make the clutch bolts too tight. Use an inch lb torque wrench.

Picked one up this morning.

Would you recommend gasket sealant on new gasket? 8 ft/lbs = 96 in/lbs. right?

Yup! 8 x 12 = 96!

Iffin you has a new gasket you'll not need the sealant, only makes a mess for next time.

discs are in, pressure plate on with new springs and bolts. torqued to 96 in/lbs. cover is going on now.

The new clutch works great! I see a new potential problem with it though. No more slipping at all and because of that, I find that I am cranking the throttle a lot more often. Man, this isn't the same bike! What a thrill.

I found a similar issue when I got my clutch to stop slipping, a sudden drop in gas mileage.......
