DragonRider Posted April 13, 2015 #1 Posted April 13, 2015 Charlene and I just returned from a wonderful restfull and fun vacation in Pagosa Springs, Co. If you have never been there you should try it some time. Pagosa Springs is famous for its natural thermal springs, they have the deepest thermal hot springs in the world. We have been there many times but never tried soaking in the springs, but this time we did many things that we have not done on previous visits. The springs were very relaxing, the resort we went to for the springs had 23 different pools you could use and the temps ranged from 99 degrees up to 115 degrees. We went and visited and soaked for about 2 hours and felt really good after we got out. We also went to Creed, Co, for a day and visited the Silver Mining Museum, Creed, is a very small town the is nestled in a valley and the main road in the town runs into a canyon and dead ends, and that is where the museum is located. And for the best of what we did was a hot air ballon ride, we have been owning at this resort in Pagosa Springs for 25 years and we never did the ballon ride until this trip, it was awesome, if you ever get the chance, do it, it is a little pricey, but well worth it. I have posted some pics to view.
Eck Posted April 13, 2015 #2 Posted April 13, 2015 Glad you two had a wonderful vacation and returned home safely Lewis. A balloon ride would be awesome over those mountains I'm sure. Keep making those memories!! Hey, I will call you again in about two weeks to see if you want to meet up for lunch. Sorry to call you while you were on this vacation, but I didn't know and surely didn't want to bother you. My calendar is full for this week and half of next week. I will call you when I get back.
