GolfVenture Posted April 12, 2015 #1 Posted April 12, 2015 A friend gave me a new box of S100 Total Cycle Cleaner. I went on line to find more info in it at http://www.S100.com. Sound good, but could not find what it cost nor any price of its other product line. So I looked here and found some a posting back in 2006. The posting comments is that it is so so and that a hand wash is better. If anyone is using it, has the product improved in 9 years?
midnightrider1300 Posted April 12, 2015 #2 Posted April 12, 2015 we use it our dealership.....after machine has been washed it is easier to clean with the S100 in showroom and it gives it a nice sine,,,,,seems like it's $8 or $9 a can
XV1100SE Posted April 12, 2015 #3 Posted April 12, 2015 Twice a year I use S100 on my bike. I'll wash it every couple weeks (or every month - depends on the weather and how dirty it gets). I find that using S100 at the beginning of the season and then mid-season makes it easier to keep the bike clean. When water spots start appearing on the engine/chrome, I know it is time to treat it with S100. After that, you don't get water spots on the bike and it is easier to keep the bike clean. In other words... highly recommended. Process is to wash and dry the bike then spray on S100. Hose it off until you no longer see "soap" bubbles then dry it off.
slowrollwv Posted April 12, 2015 #4 Posted April 12, 2015 I use to use it then I found a different product. It works very well and I buy it by the case. It is Original Bike Spirits. Last case I got was about $6.00 a 14 oz. can.
videoarizona Posted April 12, 2015 #5 Posted April 12, 2015 Hmmm...why wash the scoot? Doesn't get "dirty" out here where I live...just dusty. When that happens, I go faster...blows the dust off.
