Guest cruzmissle Posted January 9, 2007 #1 Posted January 9, 2007 ok i have a 1986 venture royale .the owners manual on the cover has XVZ13DS or XVZ13DSC what is the difference from the DS and the DSC and how do you know what you have thanks
Wrongway Posted January 9, 2007 #2 Posted January 9, 2007 I think that the C stands for California model.
Black Owl Posted January 9, 2007 #3 Posted January 9, 2007 Allan is absolutely correct. The "C" designates the bike as being built to meet the California emission standards. I believe the DSC has a fuel vapor canister. Check your VIN. If the 4th position is numeric, the 7th position will be a "C" if it is a California model.
