cowpuc Posted April 10, 2015 #2 Posted April 10, 2015 NICE Motiv - CONGRATS!! I am really really partial to the Harley Heritage Softail (my friends call em a girly sissy bike - I tell them all I dont care what they think - I LOVE that old school look) look and have seen a few bikes that really intelligent bikers like you have installed a quick detach tour pac on - that set up of yours reminds me of that iconic sharp look I have always loved - GORGEOUS SCOOT!! So,, that said,, what da heck is that thang?
Freebird Posted April 11, 2015 #3 Posted April 11, 2015 Bike looks good Paul. I assume that is a Roadhouse exhaust? It's a cool old school look. You should have stopped by. I was here all day.
Motiv Posted April 11, 2015 Author #4 Posted April 11, 2015 Hey Puc, I too love those classic softails especially the springers. This is a 01 Suzuki Volusia (VL800) with a lot of custom bits on it. The wife and I made it as far as Glacier Nation Park last summer. Hi Don, I was only able to sneak in 25 miles before we had to leave for an engagement. BTW I sent you a txt Friday and did not hear back. Oh and your mailbox is full.
jonesy Posted April 11, 2015 #5 Posted April 11, 2015 that first ride of the season always feels good. Did mine today, will be followed by more for sure.
slowrollwv Posted April 11, 2015 #6 Posted April 11, 2015 Finally got mine out on Monday. Did a short ride and then washed the winter dust off and put it back in the shed till this morning. Did about 125 miles then had to do some work in the shed.
