gorski Posted April 1, 2015 #1 Posted April 1, 2015 Ok, I consider myself somewhat intelligent, but, can not seem to figure this out. When I try to talk on the Iphone (while parked) I can hear the other party just fine, but they can not hear me. Is there something I am missing? Shouldn't the mic work so I can talk? I have it connected via the AUX port and can play and music fine. Thanks took a while to post this because of how foolish I feel...lol
XV1100SE Posted April 2, 2015 #2 Posted April 2, 2015 The AUX port is only for input....for playing music/sound from the phone. If you want to be able to use the mic function you'd need a "BuddyRich" cable. I have my BuddyRich cable plugged into my Zumo GPS and can play mp3's, talk on the phone... http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?42875-Buddy-Rich-cable-question&highlight=buddy+rich+cable http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?32283-cell-phone-though-radio-int&highlight=buddy+rich+cable http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?37424-buddy-rich-cable&highlight=buddy+rich+cable These three should give you plenty of info.
gorski Posted April 2, 2015 Author #4 Posted April 2, 2015 Hey Don Thanks, do you know if I can use that same cable for the phone without a gps?
XV1100SE Posted April 2, 2015 #5 Posted April 2, 2015 Hey Don Thanks, do you know if I can use that same cable for the phone without a gps? Some of the posts say that it can... but I cannot confirm. Someone else can comment
