Cougar Posted March 29, 2015 Author #3 Posted March 29, 2015 oh oh oh,, as soon as I posted I think I might have found one LOL of course http://www.ebay.com/itm/Emgo-Universal-Brake-Light-Switch-Rear-Stop-Spring-Pull-Motorcycle-New-K-S-/301366457630
dingy Posted March 29, 2015 #5 Posted March 29, 2015 That would be a Normally Open, Single Pole, Single Throw, Spring Return. NO SPST SPR RTN (not positive about spring return abbreviation ) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Switch This type of switch arrangement is very common. Gary
dingy Posted March 29, 2015 #7 Posted March 29, 2015 If it were used on 1st gen it would be NO SPST SPR RTN. 2nd gen uses a brake relay, then a NC SPST SPR RTN. (Normally Closed, Single Pole, Single Throw, Spring Return.) But a Venture with cruise needs 2nd set of contacts for cruise cancel. Gary
