I hope this note finds my VR friends well. Unusually mild weather recently in W. Nebraska has brought out the bikes. 82 degrees yesterday but windy. Dangerous time of the year. Still some sand and gravel in spots. Cagers not used to seeing motorcycles yet. Nearby Colorado has already had 16 accidents and 8 fatalities. Lots more traffic on the CO front range. I had a memorial service to attend yesterday. Wife asked if we could take the bike!!! I am so lucky!! 200 miles yesterday. Warm and WINDY on the way home. Looking forward to VR events this season and meeting more of our fine members. Be sure to let us know if you venture our way. Looks like We will make Sturgis again this year.

Yep, same on the East end. Been pretty decent here the last few weeks despite some chilly nights and mild winds. Been a lot of bikes out and the usual spring mishaps. Several single bike crashes and only two fatalities here in Omaha and maybe a couple more in the Lincoln area due to speed, road debris and just not being seen by others.

The only other person that didn't look at me like I was off my rocker the other morning (42 degrees out) was a guy in a convertible with the top down. Another rider caging it I suppose. Not unusual to leave Omaha in the morning around 37 degrees and getting back to the barn around 75 degrees in the evening.

Be safe out there.
