Thnx Mike If you are clear about the distinction between the First Generation Venture (1983-1993) and the Second Generation Venture (1999-2013), then rest assured that there is virtually no interchangeability of parts beyond the internal engine components, some transmission parts and the final drive. If on the other hand, your perception is that the "First Gen Venture" is the 1983-1985 and the "Second Gen Venture" is the 1986-1993, then there are an innumerable compatibility of parts, including SOME swing arms (though not all) and all the triple trees.

dingy Posted March 26, 2015 #4 Posted March 26, 2015 If you are looking at parts breakdown on 2nd Gens, anything with 26H prefix is a part that was used from 1st gens. There are many other prefixes that possibly interchange as well also, but 26H was widley used on 1st gens. Then you get into parts Yamaha repurposed from earlier models than the 1st gen and these are sprinkled through the 1st gens. Gary
