Went to the Toronto Bike Show this past weekend. One of the older bikes there brought back memories. Put many miles on the same bike back in the 70's - did several trips over several years with my dad to the east coast and the Smokies. Almost made it to the top of Mount Washington before it stalled out due to high altitude. Memories!!

AWESOME!! THAT does bring back great memories! One of my friends Dad bought a brand new Titan in 1969. His dad owned a machine shop and had left the bike in the shop with the keys in it. We were in high school at the time, walked in the shop after school, "borrowed" the bike while his Dad was gone. Went trail riding 2 up on it, having a blast and hit a small jump (maybe 3 feet high).. Landed on the side of the bike and bent the crash bar back.. Rode it back to the shop, got a hunk of inch and 1/2 cold roll, covered it with rags so it wouldnt scratch up the frame and bent the crash bar back in place. Dusted the bike off and swore the buddy oath to say nothing to no one.. Randy showed up at school the next day so I KNEW we were in the clear!!!

THANKS for the GREAT memories Evan!!

Nothing quite like the smell of 2 stroke exhaust. That one is all fancy-schmansy, with the optional gas tank rack!! I think the quickest was a H2 750 Kawasaki triple, the fastest overall had to be the Z1 900.

At first seeing the information I was thinking it was the water buffalo. Then I remembered those were 750. My bro-inlaw had the Kawasaki 250 triple. For a small cc bike that thing boogied. Would beat my Rd 350 up to about 50.

That is too cool! In my opinion that was the glory days of bikes. I know its in a completely different boat but it reminds me of my TS400 2Stroke that was stolen last fall. Man they need to bring 2 strokes back!!!
