Tail bag, that is:)

I would like something that fits well on the RSV rack. Don't care much for the Yama-bag - sort of cheap looking. Any suggestions for something well fitting good looking and that won't require a home equity loan?

I have a gym type bag that we use on the trunk rack. It holds the rain gear, cover and extra clothes and other light weight stuff. I also have a couple of top bags off T-Bags but they dont work as well as the heavy fabric gym bag. Rod

Kuryakyn makes some of the best bags in my opinion. Well made, very functional and great mounting systems. If you go to my gallery you can see the one I use. It has an awesome mounting system. I tried to post a link for you to their site, but doesn't want to come up this morning. Maybe they are updating. www.kuryakyn.com try it later.

Picked up a bag in Walmart, rectangular black cordova nylon, fits perfect. It was maybe $15-20.

Like to know more about this. Was it in the luggage section? Any Pictures? Don't need if for bike but another project.

Thanks,

I have the T-Bag system and its great well made and have not had a problem with it in over 3years now still looks new and comes with a built in rain cover i have the large tour pack and would easily recommend it

I Use one of those. Lot of room for week trip, fit on loggage rack like glove.

This price is way to hi, you can find one from dealer for about $150.00

I had this system at the same time as the t-bags tour pack and i used it a few times looks nice but its not as functional compared to the T-Bags harder to access the contents of the bag a real pain in my opinion but if this is what you want look around i gave less then a 100. dollars for mine new

the T-Bags run a bit more but well worth what you pay:thumbsup2:

I use the T-Bag Backseat Dresser bag...its only for solo riders, but it holds a LOT.

This bag is made for the HD ElectraGlide Classic or Ultra, so it needs a bit of a cushion for the front when used on the Venture...I had a local leather guy build up a cushion, enclosed in vinyl, that fits perfectly. The Venture has about 2 inches more room in the passenger area than an HD ElectraGlide....but otherwise it works great. Sure, its spendy, but worth every penny when traveling solo. Keeps weight off the rack and trunk, and on the seat, where it belongs.

I'm kinda hesitant to put a whole lot of weight on top of the trunk. Since I don't ride 2up the passenger seat handles a Tourmaster tank bag perfectly, and it's got all sorts of storage and pockets for do-dads. The pic makes it look like it slopes funny, but it actually sits fairly straight up.

I have that Kuryakyn bag and it fits the rack real good. Its a copy of the Yamaha bag as far as I can tell. It has a rain cover as well. I had the Velcro straps moved to better fit the rack by the local shoe repair guy...its not going anywhere now......there are a couple of hooks on the bottom to attach it to the rack.

Yes it was in the luggage section, though I should mention we got it a couple of years ago
