XV1100SE Posted March 22, 2015 #1 Posted March 22, 2015 Anyone with a 2nd Gen that wants to come over (when the weather is a little better) to have their carbs tuned or their lights aimed, you are welcome to come over ! Just give me a bit of warning !
Brenner Posted March 22, 2015 #2 Posted March 22, 2015 Great invite Don but you just left half the members out only assisting the second gen. What about us poor first gen? Just kidding, and so happy riding season is almost here. Hope to meet you sometime in the future.
Max Posted March 22, 2015 #3 Posted March 22, 2015 Great idea Don as we're preparing for 'dewinterization'. Got up this AM to -12c / 11f and 3 fresh inches of the white stuff. when will it end? whatever happened to global warming? We planned to cage it to the Toronto bike show today, but that isn't going to happen.
XV1100SE Posted March 22, 2015 Author #4 Posted March 22, 2015 If anyone with a 1st Gen... I have the carb-tune. Come on over !
Marcarl Posted March 22, 2015 #5 Posted March 22, 2015 A 1st gen needs to have a Special Touch,,, do you have the S.P.
XV1100SE Posted March 22, 2015 Author #6 Posted March 22, 2015 Do I have a "Special Touch" ? Nancy says I do.
stickhandle2 Posted March 22, 2015 #7 Posted March 22, 2015 Carl, Look at what you just started........
Evan Posted March 24, 2015 #8 Posted March 24, 2015 Do I have a "Special Touch" ? Nancy says I do. That's not what she told the rest of us Don. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/images/smilies/680.gif
Marcarl Posted March 24, 2015 #9 Posted March 24, 2015 There were some things that came to mind,,, but I can't seem to spell it right and so can't be posted here, but it seems that a new can of worms is about to be unveiled. Now that Nancy is involved things could get interesting.
dogman Posted March 28, 2015 #10 Posted March 28, 2015 Hey Don, do you know anything about the fuel pump? Mine was starting to go last season. I'm not sure if I should look into getting a point switch kit that I read about last season, to replace what others have said is the problem or just buy a whole new fuel pump.

Hey Dave Where have you been?! You just wake up from your winter slumber? I was just checking to see if K9 was available to assist and start searching for you!

dogman Posted March 29, 2015 #13 Posted March 29, 2015 Thank you Don, I will have to look into it and decide if I want to replace the whole thing or the point switch. Hey Dave Where have you been?! You just wake up from your winter slumber? I was just checking to see if K9 was available to assist and start searching for you! Hello Dave, can you let me know if the K9's have found me yet. I think I'm still lost, was a long cold winter out there on my own.

I was just checking to see if K9 was available to assist and start searching for you! I guess I didn't do the quote reply properly the first time. See my above thread Dave.
