videoarizona Posted March 16, 2015 #1 Posted March 16, 2015 (edited) I always knew the Venture was a big bike....but that really didn't sink in until I went to store today...and parked next to a Fiat. Yikes! What were you thinking I meant??? Edited March 16, 2015 by videoarizona spelling
Flyinfool Posted March 16, 2015 #2 Posted March 16, 2015 Thats because you have a bigger trunk than the Fiat Now park next to a Smart Car........ makes both your bike and the Fiat look big.
cowpuc Posted March 17, 2015 #3 Posted March 17, 2015 I like the looks of that Fiat,, I wonder how one would pull,, make a really cute trailer!! That Blue 1st Gen is GORGEOUS David!!
djh3 Posted March 17, 2015 #4 Posted March 17, 2015 I find it a chuckle to me at least. These economy cars that didn't sell for squat back in the 60's get reborn and now the .commers think they are "cool" to have. the mini, the FIAT next they will bring back the 3 wheeled thingy the the front flips open.
Peder_y2k Posted March 17, 2015 #5 Posted March 17, 2015 Having ridden my Ventures now for 27 years, I don't think it a big bike at all......just the right size to get the job done well. Now Goldwings are big, so big and heavy they require a reverse gear. Pete, in Tacoma WA USA
BlueSky Posted March 17, 2015 #6 Posted March 17, 2015 The green people want all of us to drive tiny car boxes. It's all in the plan.
cowpuc Posted March 17, 2015 #7 Posted March 17, 2015 The green people want all of us to drive tiny car boxes. It's all in the plan. I always wondered why places that are really populated and that seem to be a little more "green" have not adopted real encouraging motorcycling laws to promote effeciency.. Every time we get an opportunity to ride the "diamond" path (commuter 2 or more people only) thru a big city I always think to myself how cool it would if there were one for motorcycles only that had a speed limit set a 10 mph faster than the auto traffic or something just to add more enticement for folks to ride.. If that didnt work than they should try a free Butter Nut ice cream cone at the end of every bike only lane
Flyinfool Posted March 17, 2015 #8 Posted March 17, 2015 Here in WI the diamond lanes are for 2 or more people or motorcycles.
XV1100SE Posted March 17, 2015 #9 Posted March 17, 2015 end to end...the 2nd Gen is slightly longer than the original Smart cars.

Here in Toronto, parking is free for bikes and Dogman tells me that bikers can also use the HOV (diamond) lane. Your thoughts are much better.
