dingy Posted March 9, 2015 #1 Posted March 9, 2015 What are the parts shown in attached picture. A friend that is modifying a Venture has them left over. From an 87 MKII. Gary
Brenner Posted March 9, 2015 #2 Posted March 9, 2015 (edited) My MKI has the lower spring clips pictured on the radio and and class panel. When I want to remove these units I need to unlock the key cylinder and have to press these clips to allow release of the panel from the fairing. The panels on my bike have small arrows embossed showing the direction to press these clips to unlock. I have seen the top clip pictured as a fastener on my tank panel finisher trim. Meaning if you remove the edge trim of the top panel above the tank and battery you will find 14 of these holding the trim to the panel 7 on each side. I will try to remember the middle pictured as I have seen it but just can't remember where at this moment as all my panels are currently disassembled and in primer as I am prepping for paint. I only know of these parts as I have found them while striping my parts for a color change. Edited March 9, 2015 by Brenner
Marcarl Posted March 9, 2015 #3 Posted March 9, 2015 Looks like something to start a parts drawer with,,, I would have suggested a coffee can, but the one part is a bit long I think.
MiCarl Posted March 9, 2015 #4 Posted March 9, 2015 The one at top looks like the clips that anchor the molding to the false tank cover.
