bongobobny Posted March 5, 2015 #28 Posted March 5, 2015 Hmmmm, 1963... Motown was in full swing as was surf music. Dave Brubeck was hot on the jazz scene. I got a '56 Chevy Bel Air for a first road car...
DarkLeftArm Posted March 5, 2015 #30 Posted March 5, 2015 But wait! Maybe Tull! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCMS-NJ7VxU
DarkLeftArm Posted March 5, 2015 #31 Posted March 5, 2015 Maybe Zappa? I agree. We grew up with the most amazing musicians in history. I feel sad for the current 16 year olds. They have got pretty slim pickings.
Wrench Posted March 6, 2015 #32 Posted March 6, 2015 Probably Deep Purple's Smoke on the Water. About anything early Charlie Daniels, especially liked Franklin Limestone. La Grange runs a very close second place.
Ben Rollins Posted March 6, 2015 #33 Posted March 6, 2015 In 1986 music really did suck. I do remember driving around in my 77 Monte Carlo my pops gave me listening to Meatloaf's Bat out hell cassette, rocking the pioneers 6x9 in the rear window.
