Ride,StopnGo has put a lot of riding vids on the net and support the Western Canada riding community. They have biking vids on You Tube thru the Rockies and thru most of BC and Alberta, showing off some of the best riding on the continent. They even have some vids posted when they biked down to Mexico, and up to Alaska. They have put together a webpage some ideas and general info you should know when planning to ride up here. We hope you all come up for a visit, it gives us another excuse to go for a ride...:)

I think ive fixed the link now

Tip and I have yakked and yakked about taking a serious adventure across Canada and Alaska and I am still wondering about "open camping".. I really need to find out how the Canadian Officials take to bikers dropping a tent in parking lots or in wilderness pull offs.. The info I am looking for is probably on that StopnGo site cause it looked very well put together ,, I just gotta take a few minutes and read it.. THANK YOU Friesman for posting this up!!

Wilderness and camping just off road is usually just fine, not in parking lots or in cities. But Walmart parking lots are fine.....there are lots of camping places and rest stops along most roads in BC and Alberta until you get quite a long way north.

Sorry Puc but this post got me laughing.... But honestly I've lived in Ontario and Quebec and on fields and off road places I have seen lots of no trespassing signs and they mean it, is it worth getting fined or pissing a property owner off? I am having the same problem planning a trip through the maritimes and finding it difficult locating camping spots. I am hoping to hit the cabot tail and confederation bridge (longest in the world) to PEI just to say I have done it. I even have my tent ready ( It has a garage attatched) and been wtching your adventures but will stay in my country due to the current exchange rate.
