BlueSky Posted February 19, 2015 #26 Posted February 19, 2015 MikeWa, In that situation, if you had been carrying concealed, you may have had the opportunity to decide if you wanted to risk your life trying to stop the bandits. Maybe better the way it turned out.

Maybe better the way it turned out. Very true. But I would not risk my life or anyone else's for the banks money. I have no desire to be a junior G-man either. However if I thought someone's life was in danger, well then all bets are off. Mike
saddlebum Posted February 22, 2015 #28 Posted February 22, 2015 Not to mention If a crook goes for the purse and gets away with it he has one purse. If he goes for the gun and gets away with it he can have many purses - plus the gun, which is probably worth more than what most have in their purse.
Yammer Dan Posted February 23, 2015 #29 Posted February 23, 2015 That is a pretty healthy arm she has hanging there. And That's ALL I NOTICED!!!
Chaharly Posted February 23, 2015 #30 Posted February 23, 2015 I've been on the fence about whether I should get my concealed carry permit or not. The main reason I haven't done so yet is because If I'm riding i usually dont like to research which state has or doesnt have concealed carry laws. I would hate to get picked up and arrested for wandering into the wrong state with my handgun. If it was legal in every state to carry, you bet I would, but I REALLY would hate to get picked up on a technicality for just trying to protect myself. As far as open carrying goes, I'd probably just keep it concealed. Like coach Klein says on The Waterboy; What mama dont know wont hurt her!
