...and, do you peel it from the end or from the "root"? (the root being where it's connected to the other bananas whatever that part is called)

 

This will determine if you are a descendant of a monkey or not LOL

Dude, you must have a LOT of time on your hands! Seriously though, thanks for the tips. I've always peeled mine from the "root" end, but they are easier to peel from the other end.

If you keep the bananas from touching each other during storage, they last longer. A cardboard six-pack of bottled beer carton works well.

I see no humor here... this is serious sh#t..... I think we should petition to have it moved back.... I mean there are folks out there that do not subscribe to J & H thread that need to know this stuff.

No need for that in our house ... either they're eaten or the chef uses them in something. As for the beer ... it never seems to last long either
