CaptainJoe Posted February 10, 2015 #1 Posted February 10, 2015 (edited) Had a problem with the 2nd gen where the rear brake would lock up with what I would consider medium pressure. While at maintenance day a couple years ago, SkyDoc_17 sold me EBC HH brake pads for the front(increased braking efficiency) and EBC Kevlar brake pads(decreased Grabbing) for the rear. OMG what a difference... the only time my rear locks up now is if I stand on it. P.S. You can also buy Kevlar brake shoes from Dennis Kirk for a lot of bikes. Earls excellent writeup: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/watering-hole/91242-time-pay-bike.html?highlight=brakes+kevlar Edited February 10, 2015 by CaptainJoe
