K-Rider Posted February 8, 2015 #1 Posted February 8, 2015 I was working on my 87' Venture today and I finally got around to getting my radios to work. It surprised me when everything lite up and started working. Its amazing what a new fuse will do. But my problem was with the CB. It scans thru the channels and doesn't stop on any of them. Like its seeking a cannel that's being used. I have been restoring this bike for the last 3 months. I took the CB apart and cleaned the buttons because they were sticking. This was at a earlier time. I might have done something I shouldn't have done while I was cleaning it. Does anyone have any ideals on this?

MiCarl Posted February 8, 2015 #4 Posted February 8, 2015 Mine did that once. A teeny shot of WD40 on the push buttons and it was good as new. Yep. Crud builds up on the side of the buttons and they stick in the pressed position. I had a similar problem with my DX/LOC switch.
