befill Posted January 30, 2015 #1 Posted January 30, 2015 I am in the process of rebuilding a 86 engine . And am having trouble finding over size pistons on line. There or some available for the newer rsv. Was wondering if any body knows if they will work in the older engines. If some one has a repair manual for the newer rsv . it might say the wrist pin diameter in the engine overhaul section. and i could cross reference with the 86.

steve crossley Posted September 22, 2015 #4 Posted September 22, 2015 i just overhauled my 86 , i used pistons from an 2013 royal star venture . only diff. is a slight recess on piston top. not an problem.
