cowpuc Posted January 26, 2015 #3 Posted January 26, 2015 NICE!! I like that!! Hasnt Piaggio(s) or one of the Italian companies been making them for a while now? I bought/sold a few Honda Gyro's years ago, really fun little bikes, they articulated in the center and were a blast to ride,, I bet these new Yammies will be a riot in the corners!
Hummingbird Posted January 26, 2015 #4 Posted January 26, 2015 According to the conversion chart about $3300 US
CaptainJoe Posted January 26, 2015 #6 Posted January 26, 2015 Wouldn't it be nice to use this technology on existing trikes rear wheels?
rbig1 Posted January 26, 2015 #7 Posted January 26, 2015 they look cool for running errands. I would be to big for one by the look of those little people sitting on them. Unless I just drove straight. lol need more belly room.
BigLenny Posted January 26, 2015 #8 Posted January 26, 2015 For the amount of money they used to develop and manufacture that machine, they could've upgraded the Venture. Just sayin. LOL.
videoarizona Posted January 26, 2015 #9 Posted January 26, 2015 Lenny, Funny you should say that. I was reading the brochure and started thinking how cool it would be if Yamaha took that technology and made a new Venture. Front muli-link suspension, new streamlined body, fuel injected V-4....sigh. Keep the manual shift though!

I'm not sure who made them but I have seen them with the two front wheels. There was a local dealer here selling them but it's been a couple of years since I saw one.
baylensman Posted February 2, 2015 #11 Posted February 2, 2015 actually if you search these forums you will see this picture about a month back along with a test set up on a XJ6 so they are bringing the tech to other bikeshttp://www.venturerider.org/forum/watering-hole/92687-16-venture.html

Yes Piaggio has although it is no longer imported into the US. If I remember correctly it even looks like the Yamaha or maybe the Yamaha looks like it.?!?
