Freebird Posted January 25, 2015 #1 Posted January 25, 2015 (edited) I just took the time to move a lot of classifieds ads to the proper categories. Several people had posted parts for sale in the First Gen and Second Gen motorcycle category when they should have been posted in the First Gen Parts and Second Gen parts categories. I moved them because I realize that maybe it was not clear. I've added "COMPLETE BIKES ONLY" to the motorcycle categories. So I admit that maybe it wasn't clear and took the time to move all the ads to the correct place. Now that is IS clear though, I will not move them in the future and will just delete them. Also please do not cross-post the same ad in different categories unless you are selling more than one item. For example, somebody is selling replacement keys and offers them for first gen, second gen, etc. so that is acceptable to post in both places. Thanks for your consideration. It just makes it easier for folks to find what they are looking for. Edited January 25, 2015 by Freebird
Eck Posted January 25, 2015 #4 Posted January 25, 2015 Ill keep an eye out for the mistakes too and move them to correct categories also if I find one. I deleted one yesterday for the item was marked SOLD.
Freebird Posted January 25, 2015 Author #5 Posted January 25, 2015 Yes, that's another thing. If your item sells, please mark it sold. You can't delete your own ad but if you mark it sold, it will automatically delete itself after a couple of days. To mark your ad sold, simply go to your ad. At the upper right will be a link that says "Product Options". Click on that and then select "SOLD" from the dropdown menu.
