dynodon Posted November 5, 2014 #2402 Posted November 5, 2014 I grew up in Arthur, IL where there is a large Amish community, but now live 100 miles away. No Amish buggy's near me in Peoria, IL. Maybe a good excuse for a ride to the old homestead? Also, I had a historical bell just .5 miles from home but didn't see the target till it was...got! Thanks everyone for keeping this going, it is still fun.
Kc9ojn Posted November 5, 2014 #2403 Posted November 5, 2014 Lol a fellow Peoria'an. Was thinking the same thing hmm do we have the time to make a run south. I really am thinking we need a central IL meet an great. Was not sure how many I would get. I will post that in the proper place.

Weather is iffy, but if we move fast, we might be able to ride, or just say meet somewhere.
videoarizona Posted November 18, 2014 #2405 Posted November 18, 2014 No Amish around here. Did find a buggy though...but was riding VStar 950T. No snow either.....so youse guys and gals have fun finding this stuff...I'll until something comes up that I can get! Glad to see this thread is still alive!

videoarizona Posted December 15, 2014 #2407 Posted December 15, 2014 I haven't gone anywhere in a while. Working on rear end...
Pegasus1300 Posted December 15, 2014 #2408 Posted December 15, 2014 around here even the horses are put away, in fact I'll bet I've seen more bikes in the last week then horses in the last month and this is rural Utah.
etcswjoe Posted December 28, 2014 #2409 Posted December 28, 2014 (edited) With great peril and risk to life and limb I rode to downtown Charleston yesterday and got the target: Next Target is:You, Your bike and a Skating Rink https://docs.google.com/document/d/1t_moMH00JRPDBZIf3ouVk2aAGYlgxPOeHS88adT93jU/edit?usp=sharing Edited December 28, 2014 by etcswjoe
painterman67 Posted December 28, 2014 #2410 Posted December 28, 2014 opk so big question here......does it have to be a venture? As I no longer have a venture but I did stay in the yamaha line . David
Kc9ojn Posted December 28, 2014 #2411 Posted December 28, 2014 I don't want to over step by answering so I am sorry if I am but the spirit of the "game" is to have fun and get out and ride. So I am sure as long as it is a motorcycle of some flavor your welcome to join the fun.
Brake Pad Posted December 29, 2014 #2413 Posted December 29, 2014 What are you kidding me !!!!! a skating rink !!!! Hell We don't even have a Bowling Alley here
Kc9ojn Posted December 29, 2014 #2414 Posted December 29, 2014 If you don't have bowling that's not a town lol
Brake Pad Posted December 29, 2014 #2415 Posted December 29, 2014 This place is Zero Beach, FL this move here it a total waste of time for me and my company, I moved here for my wife's job. I'm thinking of moving back south an buying another place. I just bought this one with cash. I friggin hate it here
Kc9ojn Posted December 30, 2014 #2416 Posted December 30, 2014 The things we do for our ladies. But you have to look at the bright side your still riding. Lol going to be 2 here tonight
videoarizona Posted December 30, 2014 #2417 Posted December 30, 2014 No skating rinks around here either......and the closest is in Tucson...indoors. Not going to get my bike in there....sigh.
pbjman Posted January 3, 2015 #2418 Posted January 3, 2015 Skating rink, huh? Around here there's a municipal park that floods the outdoor basketball court for the winter. Kids skate and play hockey on it. If I can get it I will.... but we are rain/sleet/snow for a few days then very very cold so will probably be at least a week before I try.
pbjman Posted February 10, 2015 #2419 Posted February 10, 2015 Man, I'm still stuck. My (unpaved) driveway is iced, and the roads have been mostly yucky. Now I'm not wanting to take it out until the salt has washed away.
Kc9ojn Posted February 10, 2015 #2420 Posted February 10, 2015 Ok if I can get out I want to check and see if it's all good to get a pic of me my bike and the indoor skate arena , I know that was not the thought behind this target but just checking
CMCOFFEY Posted February 23, 2015 #2421 Posted February 23, 2015 nobody said it had to be an Ice skating rink. There is a roller skating rink across from my church, but every time I remember this thread, I am in a cage.
van avery Posted March 8, 2015 #2422 Posted March 8, 2015 OK , lets get things going again. This is Roller Rink and my 86 Aspencade SEI, I finally got painted and put back together. Bought it as a skeleton bike with the Tupperware all in boxes ( Not labeled). I believe that was the last target. For the next target lets do You, your bike, and a painted statue of some type of animal like horse, cow or bulldog. Extra points if it's painted patriotic.
Kc9ojn Posted March 8, 2015 #2423 Posted March 8, 2015 Woohoo 50 tomorrow and a new target life is good.
Kc9ojn Posted March 16, 2015 #2425 Posted March 16, 2015 Well its not Painted like a flag but it is a Bald Eagle. I was thinking St. Pats Day is coming So next we will go for, You, Your bike , and Something Irish. If your Irish this will be EZ lol get creative.
