dynodon Posted March 28, 2012 Share #1861 Posted March 28, 2012 I have been on my bike the last four days, 1500 miles to Atlanta and back to help a friend pick up a new bike. I know where there is "elevated" transportation in a couple spots, but as usual weather is supposed to be iffy next couple of days. Keep up the good work everyone! Ya, that's what I was wondering. :confused24:I just put on 80 miles since leaving Rick's in gorgeous sunshine. I guess it's a good thing I headed South , instead of West 15 miles. Scooter Bob Posted March 29, 2012 Share #1866 Posted March 29, 2012 Hey Joe, Do Camels count?? They use them for transportation in the desert. The reason I ask is that I've seen a lot of these camel silouettes today (see pic attached below). I did see a nice semi truck and trailer around mile 71 on I55 in MO being used as a bilboard, but I couldn't get to it for a pic. I'll keep hunting tomorrow in Arkansas. Later, Scooter Bob The current target is... Scooter Bob Posted March 29, 2012 Share #1868 Posted March 29, 2012 I found this right away this morning, just west of Corning, AR. But it's pretty lame, I'll keep hunting. This is an excellant target, Joe, I just can't seem to find anything so far on this trip. Within an hour from home I could show you a dump truck, Oshkosh truck, bulldozer, and semi tractor/trailer mounted vertical, all an poles. And a farm tractor on top of a silo. dynodon Posted March 30, 2012 Share #1873 Posted March 30, 2012 There used to be an entire building covered with hubcaps on the south side of Peoria, was there about a year ago. I guess I could cheat, I have an old spinner hubcap off a 50's Oldsmobile, that I could hang on one of my buildings but that wouldn't be nice!
