Well crud. I just realized our bike's not in the pix. Got all excited and didn't make sure I had all the right criteria.

Sorry to get so excited.....one day I'm going to have the right pix....!!

Oh so close, but did you just take that picture or was it from earlier this year? As I understand it, you need a new picture taken after the target is set...right?

But I might have picked a nit, is the Continental Divide a place or a park? :)

Well my daughter and I braved the 48 degree, raining weather for a nice afternoon ride to Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore Park. Well looking for the main sign, I even asked a ranger he said there are several signs for the different areas but not a main sign. He assured me its a national park. So we stopped at the sand dune hill climb and grabbed a pic, then headed down the 7 miles scenic drive which was incredible best 5 bucks I ever spent. So I figure this should count but let me know what you all think!!? And I will set the next target then....

Ya, that bridge looks awesome. :happy65:Is it fairly new? We found one on one of the rustic roads last year west of Minacqua in the Chequamegon National Forest. It had a plaque with construction facts on it that said it was built in 1995. I put on a couple pics of it.

Ok, only supposed to get to 50 degrees today, but at least the sun is supposed to shine after most of a weeks absence. We are going for a putt this afternoon.

What's the target we can be looking for??

Ok Sorry took us a minute to decide but after some thinking my daughter and I decide that since she just loves the childrens museum here in Traverse City so much that the next target should be you, your bike of course, in front of a childrens museum, would like to see the sign and building so good luck to everyone

I think I have one!!

The sign has poor colours but I think you can read it if you zoom in.

In front of the Hamilton Children's Museum in Hamilton, Ontario.

Awaiting confirmation....

Googled it, Daughter and I think it looks interesting. have you been there?

My wife and kids have been there many years ago. It has many interactive activites like when you use an exercise bike it lights a bulb and one room dealt with your five senses with different samples to smell etc. Arts and crafts room too.

Now, in the spirit of "let's have a laugh" I would like to see the following picture:

You, and your bike in front of the local Harley dealership...

oh yeah, AND.... a big Harley dude

a) in the beetch seat

b) or cleaning your bike

c) or paying some sort of homage to the mighty Yammie!

Have fun, and I can't wait for this one!

:hihi:

Hmmmm. not much response. Must be too tough for y'all. I'm surprised, had a buddy volunteer for me. I'll give it another couple of days, maybe you're all too stuffed with turkey to get the chaps on.....

Just wondering, how long after a "stump" until the check arrives? And how much is it exactly?

:confused07:

If you are in the process of getting the original pic with Harley dude, that is still okay. For a second target, in honour of my heritage:

You, your bike and a dragon.

Picture, statue or drawing is okay. Hope that is cool.

Not that tough for a lot of us, I road HD's for years, and have lots of friends that still do.

But....

I wasn't going to participate in continuing a "brand rivalry". I here many here complaining about HD riders that don't wave, or do other rude things. I don't see much of that around here, yes, in WI. So I just didn't want to be the one to be starting something either and get mentioned on HRRIDERS . org or whatever.

But interesting target just the same.

in my area we have a local High School that has "The Dragons" as a nickname. Pekin, IL. the city used to have a railroad history, and some chinese people that came with it, the HS used to be nicknamed the "Chinks" and had a little fellow like the guys in that Disney movie with the pointed hats.

Well, that was deemed racist several years ago, so they are now the dragons. Might be able to get a pic of their HS sign if it ever stops raining here!

Farmers are real worried about getting their crops out before the first real hard freeze. Probably 98% of corn and beans are still in the field here in N. Illinois.

If you didn't want to participate in that target, for WHATEVER your reasons, thats cool. I MEANT it was tough to talk someone else into posing for you, not too sure how YOU took it. It was posted as .... "in the spirit of lets have a laugh". Obviously it was meant as a joke, the guy "posing" would of been in on the joke, and MOST of us would of had a laugh and realized it was a joke.

But it does seem you care more what HDRIDERS.org have to say that venturerider.org so you probably made the right call. Thanks for the interest.

Was a nice day yesterday (Wednesday 10-21) almost 70 here in Central IL. I went looking for a dragon in Pekin like I mentioned earlier. Well darn. The Dragon Dome is for sale and there are no signs around it now other than the for sale sign. The Pekin HS "Dragons" don't have a sign out front with a dragon and I wasn't going to go riding on the school property during class. All the oriental restaurants with dragon in the name around here have some symbol, but no dragon...so I got a nice ride, but no picture. Thought I would mention it if someone else saw my note and decided to ride a long distance to Pekin IL!

Let's get this one, and move on. :stirthepot:

I'm not sure if I should change the target again, or wait?!

I'm tempted to pick - you, your bike and a grey cloud or "dried up corn stalk" just to move it on. Lots of them around lately. Too many of the first.

I'd really hate to do the "insurance cost vs number of days ridden" math this year. Its been brutal. Now it looks like winter is coming soon too, so off to the storage soon

At least I got my one target, before Sta-Bil days arrive.

Give it a little more time, the dragon should not be THAT hard to find.

I do believe that I could find a cut corn stalk close by though, just in case you do change it!

LOL

I will let the person that set the target make the decision, but I say it is a bike, the owner, and a dragon. Target acquired, let Josh set a new one?

Well done Josh!! Welcome aboard the "Hunt" and please pick the next target. Sorry it took awhile to reply, hard to salute and type at the same time.

AGAIN....WELL DONE... I was hoping for your average chinese food restaurant dragon, not the SACRED one!!
