halfwitt Posted March 26, 2008 #51 Posted March 26, 2008 Probably won't get a winner from Kansas on this one!
Animal Posted March 26, 2008 #52 Posted March 26, 2008 I have seen lighthouses in places where there is no water.... like in front of a restaurant so how is this: It does not have to be a water navigation lighthouse, but it does have to be bigger than the bike.
halfwitt Posted March 26, 2008 #53 Posted March 26, 2008 I wasn't complaining! Actually, I'm in PA and there is a lighthouse down by the mighty Susquehanna River not far from here. I like the lighthouse idea. I've always enjoyed taking photos of lighthouses. If I could get up to Maine in the next few days I would do it! Good job on the ball parks by the way. I was trying to think of something appropriate to NCAA basketball, tax returns and then it hit me....my favorite, no second favorite, make it third favorite thing in life is baseball. Had to go with that.
BradT Posted March 27, 2008 #54 Posted March 27, 2008 Get the lighthouse photo!!!!!Then suggest You your bike and a snowman so the bikes up north can play lol Thanks Just have to roll the bike out of garage into the driveway. Snowbanks are even larger than the bike still. BRad
Cinderella Posted March 27, 2008 #55 Posted March 27, 2008 How about a bike beside a dead battery????????????:whistling:
Animal Posted March 27, 2008 #56 Posted March 27, 2008 There are some beautiful lighthouses out there... Animal and I actually went out a got a great picture after posting the target. We are waiting for someone to post a pic and win and then we will show off ours.
Animal Posted March 27, 2008 #57 Posted March 27, 2008 So far we have: 1) Covered Bridge won by pegscraper on 3/24 2) Caboose by halfwitt on 3/26 3) Baseball field & wearing a ball cap by Animal on 3/26 New Target: Lighthouse
Ferrantelli Posted March 27, 2008 #58 Posted March 27, 2008 Does the lighthouse on my front lawn count? I did start my bike to move it in the driveway.:rotf:
gibvel Posted March 27, 2008 #59 Posted March 27, 2008 I'm gonna say. Although this brings up the point...why can't you use miniatures of anything. So maybe not. Judges, what do you think.
dynodon Posted March 27, 2008 #60 Posted March 27, 2008 If I didn't have a bum leg and bad cold I would have put up a pic yesterday of a 3 story "lighthouse" in front of a car dealership. Has a light, but they made them stop the rotating one! I say accept the miniature, and let him set the next target!
Kregerdoodle Posted March 27, 2008 #61 Posted March 27, 2008 Naw!!!! Come on, lets have the real thing......
yamahamer Posted March 27, 2008 #62 Posted March 27, 2008 I say:thumbsup2: it didn't say a real lighthouse!
DocO Posted March 27, 2008 Author #64 Posted March 27, 2008 I'd have to say on the lighthouse. It didnt' say "real lighthouse". I love the ingenuity! Let's not forget that the target should be something that most folks could get.. If you're a long way from the coast, your chances of getting to a lighthouse in a short amount of time are pretty slim.
yamahamer Posted March 27, 2008 #65 Posted March 27, 2008 It did say though bigger than the bike..... yea but that was 2 hours and 46 minutes after the mission.
Animal Posted March 27, 2008 #66 Posted March 27, 2008 Good job :rotf::rotf: It's bigger than the bike except for the windshield and it's not a diorama model. :cool10::cool10: I like it set the next task !:080402gudl_prv:

halfwitt Posted March 28, 2008 #75 Posted March 28, 2008 Well, if nobody is going to get this then I'm off to Hershey Park tomorrow. The Ferris Wheel is right next to the road. My wife will enjoy her first ride of the season. You have 24 hours to beat me to it. If I win, I'll pick the snowman...
