flyday58 Posted December 27, 2014 #1 Posted December 27, 2014 Hello all, In trying to help with bleeding of the linked brakes I bought a brake line with the bleeder from an '89 Venture Royale on ebay. It didn't come with a mounting bracket for the bleeder, and I can't figure out from the parts house diagrams what I need to mount it. Can someone take a picture or point it out to me on a parts diagram? I figure I may be able to find one in a parts or bolts lot that are listed on ebay. This is the line I have, bracket would be for the top end of the line. Thanks, Merry Christmas to all, and to all, a good ride! Richard
Prairiehammer Posted December 27, 2014 #2 Posted December 27, 2014 The MKII top bleeder bracket is a tab with a hole that is welded to the frame.
flyday58 Posted December 27, 2014 Author #3 Posted December 27, 2014 Thanks Kevin, figured it was something like that and not on the '83. Guess I'll have to figure out a way of mounting it otherwise.
Peder_y2k Posted December 27, 2014 #4 Posted December 27, 2014 Simply drill a hole in the frame and tap threads in it for a machine screw and mount an angled piece of metal that supports the hose end. -Pete, in Tacoma WA USA

Watch out for those Rainier Beer crossings, I know they're still lurking out there somewheres. Saw one dart across the highway in Puyallup once... Richard
flyday58 Posted December 29, 2014 Author #6 Posted December 29, 2014 Success. For me, anyways. Had to locate here due to triple tree interference. MKII may have clearance, MKI didn't. At least not mine. Anyway, done.
Peder_y2k Posted December 30, 2014 #7 Posted December 30, 2014 Looks real good from over here........... -Pete, in Tacoma WA USA
