friesman Posted December 20, 2014 #2 Posted December 20, 2014 check out here with WildBill a member here. He has an ad in Classifieds here to install gauges. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/photopost/showproduct.php?product=42&title=furnish-26amp-3b-install-tach-and-gauges&cat=26
Mike G in SC Posted December 20, 2014 #3 Posted December 20, 2014 Yeah Bill does that (and does a great job on lowering front or back). But he lives about 30 miles north of Charlotte, NC. Hey, we're going to have it near 60 this week. Oh, so you know, Wild Bill (Bill Little) was an engineer for Alcoa for 20+ years. Then a reduction in force happened and he took a position as a mechanic for them, for 10 more years. Now that's experience! (Sorry Bill, tooting your horn.)

I am in central Wi You mean you want to sacrifice your cassette player for gauges.....blasphemy not another one. It can be done. Don't worry I want make you watch while I'm roto-zipping the dash. Tachs. are also a nice addition to the three gauge set-up. The only thing is I work out of my own shop everything to do the install is here. You can do this just take a couple drinks of apple pie before you start modifying the dash unless your like me nerves of steel and not faint hearted. Oh Mike thanks for chiming in.
Little Bob Posted December 21, 2014 Author #5 Posted December 21, 2014 Where would the tach go! And would you be willing put them in? Nice road trip during the summer months. Could come and see you.
WildBill1 Posted December 22, 2014 #6 Posted December 22, 2014 Just getting back to you, Tach would be handle bar mount. You can check it out in the Classifieds under Member Vendors. I use a Drag Specialities wasted spark Tach which when properly install gives a dead-on RPM reading. The Black Venture has it shown.
