videoarizona Posted December 17, 2014 #1 Posted December 17, 2014 Since I have the rear end apart...decided to do some cleaning. 30 minutes later here is the result on one of my mufflers. Simple aluminum foil and muscle power...
K-Rider Posted December 18, 2014 #2 Posted December 18, 2014 Great job!! I just bought my 87' Venture a couple of months ago. I have been doing a lot of chrome shinning myself. I have been using 0000 steel wool. It seems to work good also. I will have to give alum foil a try.
pbjman Posted December 18, 2014 #3 Posted December 18, 2014 That's a great result, thanks for posting. So do you gotta let the sweat drip into the foil to get better shine?
syscrusher Posted December 30, 2014 #5 Posted December 30, 2014 So do you rub it with a flat sheet of foil or crunch it into more of a ball? The results do seem incredible. Does that work on aluminum?

Does that work on aluminum? I start with a flat sheet doubled over...it ends up in a crushed ball all by itself after lots of use!
