Ventureless Posted December 12, 2014 #1 Posted December 12, 2014 I know that a lot of people swap the RSTD bars to the RSV for wider bars and more pullback. So does that mean that I can throw a set of RSV bars directly on my RSTD? I am pretty tall and actually liked the RSV bars. Just sitting on the RSTD, the reach and angles feel funny to me for some reason. I am thinking I could put the RSV bars on pretty quickly without having to change any control wires or hoses. So has anyone done this? I would actually like mini apes eventually, but with Xmas close, I am trying to keep costs down for now.
M61A1MECH Posted December 12, 2014 #2 Posted December 12, 2014 Never heard of anyone going that way, I would suggest measuring the area where the speedo cluster fits to see if there is room for it it set in between the Venture bars upright portion. That is where you will run into problems.
Motiv Posted December 12, 2014 #3 Posted December 12, 2014 If you decide to go this route and are in a need for RSV bars and weights drop me a line as I should have those avaiable after the holidays.
Sylvester Posted December 12, 2014 #4 Posted December 12, 2014 You will need long arms to handle the change.
ragtop69gs Posted December 12, 2014 #5 Posted December 12, 2014 The Victory dealer near me has a 07 RSV with mini apes on the used bike floor. I was shocked when I sat on it and actually liked the way they felt.
