TxVenture Posted March 22, 2008 #1 Posted March 22, 2008 Last weekend our grandson got gum all over the leather on the seats in our van. Didn't want to use some of the gum removers on the market not being sure how they would do on leather. Did a google search for gum removal tips, several tips out there, just have to pick the one that you want to use. The one I chose is "Scotch Tape", the actual brand of scotch tape is the one that was recommended. IT WORKS!!!! Takes a little time and about a complete roll depending on the amount of gum. Just put it on the gum, rub it in, and pull using a sideways or angle pull. This way there is no smell left and the gum is gone. Don H.
BEER30 Posted March 23, 2008 #2 Posted March 23, 2008 You can also use an Ice Cube . Makes the gum hard and easier to peel off . BEER30
