tufftom4 Posted December 9, 2014 #1 Posted December 9, 2014 I have never seen something like this it is a 1970 RENAULT CAR TURNED INTO TRIKE CONVERT , WITH CAMPER.
BigLenny Posted December 9, 2014 #2 Posted December 9, 2014 Wow! Somebody put a lotta time into that thing! However, that big ol cab/canopy looks like it would have a parachute effect while going down the road.
kevin-vic-b.c. Posted December 9, 2014 #3 Posted December 9, 2014 Not to mention how much weight the aft end of an old Chevy Suburban is to drag around
Marcarl Posted December 9, 2014 #4 Posted December 9, 2014 Looks old enough to have been Puc's,, wonder how much he got for it????
bongobobny Posted December 9, 2014 #5 Posted December 9, 2014 Why is that person throwing up inside the VW??
Flyinfool Posted December 9, 2014 #6 Posted December 9, 2014 Why is that person throwing up inside the VW?? Cuz if he makes a mess on the driveway they will make him clean it up..........
Pegasus1300 Posted December 9, 2014 #7 Posted December 9, 2014 That trailer looks like some sort of European van with the front end cut off,not a VW. I wonder what it is? The creativity and desire to ride of bikers never ceases to amaze me. Somebody did a great job.
cowpuc Posted December 9, 2014 #8 Posted December 9, 2014 INDEED!!!! Wish I could claim it,, definitely a true work of artistic glory!! Not only could a person tour on that puppy,, he could LIVE in it!! I LOVE the front seat - could easily double as a spare bed for friends to come stay,,,, OR,, serve as "the dog house" for those "on the road" disagreements that happen once in a great while (probably take people who are married to a person who would build something like this to get that one)..
Huggy Posted December 10, 2014 #9 Posted December 10, 2014 Why is that person throwing up inside the VW?? He was feeding the baby vulture's that live in there!!!
Prairiehammer Posted December 11, 2014 #10 Posted December 11, 2014 That trailer looks like some sort of European van with the front end cut off,not a VW. I wonder what it is? The creativity and desire to ride of bikers never ceases to amaze me. Somebody did a great job. I think it is an Opel Kadett B Caravan, circa 1965.
snyper316 Posted January 17, 2017 #11 Posted January 17, 2017 I know this thread is a couple years old but, I got a kick out of it! interesting conversion tho. If it were mine I think I would use the Canopy for just the parades then put it down to cruise down the road. But I bet he is only getting about 20 mpg with that trailer in tow!
mraf Posted January 17, 2017 #12 Posted January 17, 2017 My first thought was Wille Nelsons song On the road Again with a big grin on my face. Definitely old school.
Pegasus1300 Posted January 18, 2017 #13 Posted January 18, 2017 I was looking at the trike again and noticed that the front end is from a late 60's BSA or Triumph. They both used that brake and forks.
