drive shaft lubrication

So, I only have to grease the front spline on the drive shaft as the rear is lubed by the final drive grease/oil?

For a post 1986 XVZ13, that is correct.

that actually applies to 86s as well. The final drive oil lubes the rear splines

I guess using the phrase 'post 1986' might unintentionally indicate that 1986 were not included. Perhaps 'post 1985' would be more accurate? Or '1986 and later'.

Great, I was hoping I could start putting her back together without tearing into it any further! Supposed to be in upper 40's later this week in Wisconsin, so I see a short run on Old Blue in my future.
