I just ordered an AGM Battery from Sears. Ran into the ad while messing around in eBay. Sometimes an ad link will be placed at the bottom of a page that has nothing to do with eBay. Saw one about a 'Chrome' and thought it was worth looking into. CHROME SEARS The price was very good so thought I'd check one out. Around $55 and no shipping. With state sales tax it ran around $60 bucks. A lot less then the DEKA's. And these have a 18 month Sears warrantee. I'll let you know what I find when it arrives.

That's a good price. I paid about $83 for a Walmart AGM for my 85 ZN that was made by Yuasa. I was so impressed with the AGM battery that since then, I replaced my 10 year old 2005 Dodge Magnum RT battery with a $203 Advance Auto Parts Platinum AGM battery and also replaced my 2002 F150Scab4x4 5 year old battery with a $159 Sam's Club AGM battery. My 89 Venture bought last May had a 2 yr old AGM that seems to be doing well still. Just the freaking starter doesn't work well when the engine is hot. I just ordered some larger cables from our friend Dinky to go with the 96 starter I bought off ebay. So, now I need to get busy and change them out.

I just replaced my 6 year old AGM battery with another identical AGM. Won't put any other battery into my Venture!

Boomer....who sez quality and longevity makes these AGM's the cat's meow.
