A Few maintenance questions.

Hey guys! Just wanted to give a shout out to sky doc for loaning me his shim kit and for the clutch upgrade.

 

I'm about to tear into this thing to do the dreaded valve job and I've decided to adjust the float level in my carbs and shim the needles. While I've got the carbs off I'd like to do a cleaning and replace all the vacuum hoses. My question is, since I haven't really found any great info on cleaning the carbs perhaps someone here has done this abd can give me some tips.

 

Do any of you guys know the size of the vacuum and fuel hoses .

 

Also does anyone know how to lube the throttle cables because I need to get that done.
