saddlebum Posted December 3, 2014 #1 Posted December 3, 2014 (edited) Once again I would like to host a Meet and Eat here in Burlington Ontario, making this the 4th annual meet and eat. As in previous years this is the weekend of the NORTH AMERICAN MOTORCYCLE SUPER SHOW, which is a three day event here in Toronto Ontario SUPERSHOW - North America's Largest Motorcycle Show . The place I have in mind will again be at TUCKERS MARKET PLACE in Burlington Ontario. Burlington | Tuckers Marketplace Restaurant . Which is about 25 minutes from the motorcycle show. Please check the events calender and RSVP http://www.venturerider.org/forum/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=434&day=2015-1-3&c=1 as soon as possible so that I can a get head count (including any guests you may bring with you) and so that I may make the appropriate reservations. As usual I will add a few extra seats. In the past we have had between 25 and 30 members attend, and a great time was had by all. I would love to see a similar or bigger size group again to kick off the year of 2015 Oh and Swifty there is a fair sized field behind the Restaurant in case you plan on Para Flying in. saddlebum Posted December 16, 2014 Author #17 Posted December 16, 2014 (edited) We do intend to be there but will eat early. bobMy plan was to set reservations for 6:00 pm but the earliest I could get was 6:30 PM. I try to take into account that not everyone lives right around the corner but also that some will either be at the bike show or have to work and need a bit of time to get there. Also please don't forget to go to the calender and RSVP so that I can get a reasonable head count. I have booked for 20 but I can revise that number if I need to. Evan Posted January 1, 2015 #21 Posted January 1, 2015 Great Ben. So glad you are doing this again. Haven't missed one yet and only a month ago, I checked with Marcarl to make sure I hadn't missed this one. As things would have it, our family get together that I am hosting got rescheduled to Saturday. I will do my best to make it probably can't get there early enough for the meal. I'm sure it will be another good time for all to meat and eat!!
saddlebum Posted January 2, 2015 Author #23 Posted January 2, 2015 Hey Evan the meal is nonstop. So if you do make it, great.
sleepy2 Posted January 2, 2015 #24 Posted January 2, 2015 As usual I am going to miss this meet. I have to go to work that night and there won't be enough time for food and sleep before I have to go to work. Could have if I could have afforded to retire like I could have this month(or won the lottery). No luck yet!! Still hoping.
