Squidley Posted November 26, 2014 #1 Posted November 26, 2014 Ok folks, I have a question for those of you that have the Dyna 3k on your G2. I found out that the 02 I purchased has one. It's the older one with the switches on the back of it that you use to adjust the rpm's and advance curve. If y'all could chime in and let me know where you keep your advance at I would appreciate it. It was set at an 8 degree advance if Im reading this thing right. Give me you inputs and why you feel your happy with where yours is set...appreciate y'all.
Freebird Posted November 27, 2014 #2 Posted November 27, 2014 I don't remember what the switch settings were but I kept mine on stock. Played with it a bit at one time but didn't seem that it made any improvement to change it.
baylensman Posted November 27, 2014 #3 Posted November 27, 2014 If I remember correctly the first 3 switches control the timing curve. The last three control the rev limiter. I think dynas web site will tell you what settings do what. Mine on the old bike was some advance (ibelieve its the first set over stock) and bumper the rev limiter up to around 6800 rpm
